- Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, Biweekly rotation including every other weekend (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM), Contract position
Key Responsibilities
- Provide perinatal surgical support within the Maternal Newborn Service, collaborating with hospital team during labor, delivery, and postpartum care
- Assist in intraoperative and recovery procedures for operative deliveries, ensuring patient safety and support
- Maintain proficiency in Epic electronic health record system and adhere to hospital protocols
- Deliver care for both mother and newborn, including special care for premature and higher-risk infants
- Ensure compliance with all clinical and safety standards, including vaccines and certifications
- Support biweekly orientation and coordinate care in a fast-paced surgical environment
Required Qualifications
- Nationally certified Surgical Technologist (L&D Tech)
- 3+ years of experience in a labor & delivery or surgical setting
- Proficiency with Epic electronic health record system
- BLS (AHA) certification, NRP certification
- Up-to-date flu vaccine (declinations not accepted)
- Comfortability working in the OR setting and within maternal/neonatal care
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with intraoperative and postpartum maternal/neonatal care
- Prior work in hospital OR or maternal-fetal units
- Ability to adapt to rotating night shifts and weekend schedules

Additional Notes
- BILH cover sheet required at submission
- Candidates must be separated from BILH for at least 6 months if previously employed permanently
- Guaranteed 72 hours biweekly, excluding on-call hours
