Schedule / Job Type
- Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide patient care in an Intermediate Care/Progressive Care Unit (IMC/PCU/Stepdown).
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, including ECG rhythm recognition.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Complete assessments and documentation accurately during each shift.
- Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
- Participate in orientation, including ECG recognition and safeMedicate assessments.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 18 months recent permanent experience in PCU/Stepdown.
- Valid Ohio Professional Nurse License or Compact State License.
- BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Ability to recognize ECG rhythms and perform associated assessments.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience working night shifts in a hospital setting.
- Familiarity with Qualivis – Lotus for submitting hours.
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills.
