Tech Polysomnographer / Sleep Tech
Job Title
• Polysomnographer / Sleep Technician
Location
• Sioux Falls, SD
Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, Nights shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week
Key Responsibilities
• Perform diagnostic sleep testing, including all PAP therapy titration procedures
• Check-in patients, set up rooms, connect patient monitoring equipment, chart data, and clean equipment after procedures
• Operate and troubleshoot specialized sleep lab equipment such as computerized charting systems, Natus XLTech Sleep Works, and ResMed S9 devices
• Ensure adherence to quality and safety standards during sleep studies
• Complete all required documentation accurately and timely
• Follow facility protocols for patient care and safety
Required Qualifications
• Certified Sleep Tech (RPSGT) or current Certification in BLS
• Minimum of 1 year of sleep technology experience
• Ability to operate sleep lab equipment and perform sleep studies effectively
• Must badge in and out at the facility each shift
• Must wear gray scrubs for all shifts
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience with pediatric sleep studies is a plus
• Familiarity with EMR systems and data scoring during sleep studies
