- Full-time, rotating shifts, 3 shifts per week, 12-hour shifts, every other weekend and holiday
Key Responsibilities
- Provide patient care in a busy, large hospital setting with a level 2 or higher trauma center.
- Perform head-to-toe assessments, medication administration via various routes, and care plan documentation.
- Manage wound, line, and drain care, utilizing equipment such as Epic EMR, Accudose Rx, Alaris IV pumps, and Philips vitals machines.
- Float within the MedSurg cluster and between campuses in Fargo, including different units like oncology, trauma, cardiac, neuro, and medical behavioral units.
- Adhere to bedside protocols, including badge in/out procedures, and ensure scrub attire is Navy Blue.
Required Qualifications
- Active ND RN license or Compact state license.
- Minimum of 1 year recent Med Surg experience in a large hospital (200+ beds).
- BLS certification from AHA.
- Epic EMR experience.
- Must have experience working in a fast-paced hospital environment.
- Willingness to float between units and campuses as needed.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Float pool experience.
- Experience working in a level 2 or higher trauma center.
- Previous experience with oncology, trauma, cardiac, neuro, or med-surg specialties.
