Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, 8-week travel assignment, dayshift, Monday to Friday, 6:45 AM – 3:15 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in the Operating Room for orthopedic, sports, spine, podiatry, and hand procedures.
• Support surgical teams by preparing ORs and ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
• Assist with a variety of orthopedic surgeries, including total joints, arthroscopy, ACL repairs, spine surgeries, and podiatric procedures.
• Document patient care using paper charting systems in accordance with hospital policies.
• Maintain a sterile environment and operate or assist with advanced surgical equipment.

Required Qualifications

• 1-2 years of general operating room experience.
• 1-2 years of orthopedic, spine, or related specialized surgical experience.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• Ability to float within the division to other centers as needed.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with total joints (hips, knees, shoulders), sports procedures, spine surgeries, podiatry, and hand surgeries.
• Familiarity with orthopedic surgical procedures such as ACDF, lumbar laminectomy, arthroscopy, and others.
• Advanced skills in orthopedic and spine surgery assisting.
