Schedule / Job Type
- Travel, Days shifts, 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week, 13-week assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Provide post-anesthesia care to patients recovering from surgery in the Pre-Operative and Post-Anesthesia Care Units (PACU).
- Monitor patient vitals, manage pain levels, and assess recovery progress.
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure smooth patient transitions and discharge readiness.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care in Meditech EMR system.
- Ensure safety protocols and guidelines are strictly followed in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Active Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Minimum of 2 years PACU experience.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in pre-op procedures.
- Upbeat, resilient personality suited to a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with GE monitors and PACU equipment.
