- Full-time, night shifts, 13-week assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill adult patients in the ICU setting
- Monitor and interpret hemodynamic data, including PA catheter setup and interpretation
- Administer titration of vesicant medications, pressors, sedation, and paralytics
- Operate and manage advanced ICU equipment such as vents, Trachs, telemetry systems, and other critical devices
- Perform procedures including cardioversion, central line insertion, chest tube management, and more
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and safety
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state of North Carolina or appropriate state licensure
- ICU experience of at least 2 years
- Strong proficiency with ventilator management, telemetry interpretation, and hemodynamic monitoring
- Ability to perform titration of vesicant medications, pressors, sedation, and paralytics
- Experience with advanced procedures such as cardioversion and central line placement
Preferred Experience / Skills
- CCRN certification (recommended)
- Familiarity with advanced ICU equipment such as IABP, Impella, and CRRT
- Knowledge of transvenous pacing, TEE, and chest tube maintenance
