Registered Nurse - Infusion
Location: Pagosa Springs, CO
Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, Day shifts, 10-hour shifts, Monday through Thursday, with one Friday per month
Key Responsibilities:

• Provide outpatient infusion services, including chemotherapy, biotherapy, immunotherapy, antibiotics, and blood products management for adult patients
• Perform IV insertions, including PICC line and Port-A-Cath management, with proficiency in adult patient assessment and treatment side effect management
• Administer medications, monitor patient responses, and manage potential side effects through interdisciplinary collaboration
• Educate patients on injection procedures and infusion therapies related to various adult disease processes
• Communicate effectively with physicians and healthcare team members to coordinate care and ensure high-quality patient outcomes
• Document assessments, treatments, and patient education accurately in electronic health records
  Required Qualifications:
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• At least 2 years of Medical/Surgical nursing experience with strong IV insertion and phlebotomy skills
• Previous infusion experience required, including oncology infusion
• ONS Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Certification required
• Basic computer skills; experience with Cerner EHR preferred but not mandatory
• Current BLS certification; ACLS and PALS certifications preferred
• Strong customer service skills and ability to multitask effectively
