Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care in the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) setting.
- Scrub independently on multiple service lines, including endovascular/hybrid, neuro-spine, ENT, ortho, and robotic surgeries.
- Function as both circulator and scrub nurse, ensuring patient safety and procedural efficiency.
- Float within scope to meet facility needs, including potential assignments at nearby campuses.
- Support various surgical procedures, adhering to surgeon preferences and safety protocols.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of CVOR nursing experience.
- Active nursing license in good standing (pending licenses are not accepted).
- BCLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
- Ability to independently scrub multiple service lines.
- Strong cardiac OR competency with quick adaptation to surgeon preferences.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in endovascular/hybrid, neuro-spine, ENT, ortho, or robotic specialties.
- Previous experience as a circulator or scrub nurse in a high-volume hospital setting.
- Ability to operate effectively with minimal supervision after orientation.
