Key Responsibilities
- Provide patient care to adult patients in a telemetry setting, monitoring cardiac and medical remote telemetry systems.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to assess patient needs and implement individualized care plans.
- Utilize Cerner electronic medical records system for documentation and daily updates.
- Prepare patients for procedures such as Endoscopy, Interventional Radiology (IR), and Operating Room (OR).
- Ensure safety and comfort of patients while maintaining compliance with hospital policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina or appropriate state licensing.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
- Experience with medical telemetry monitoring systems.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Leadership experience or prior charge nurse roles.
- BSN degree.
- Additional certifications such as CMSRN are encouraged.
