Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a fast-paced emergency department.
- Administer treatments, medications, and interventions as ordered by physicians.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, respond to emergencies, and document care accurately.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Adhere to hospital policies, safety protocols, and patient experience standards.
Required Qualifications
- Valid nursing license.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience as a registered nurse, with at least 1 year in an emergency department setting.
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications prior to start date.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including night shifts and weekends.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in a Level II trauma center or comprehensive stroke center.
- Previous experience working in high-volume emergency departments (over 100,000 visits annually).
- Familiarity with Cerner documentation systems.
- Bilingual skills or multicultural patient care experience are a plus.
