Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive emergency nursing care to adult patients in a high-volume Level II trauma and comprehensive stroke center.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.
• Document patient information accurately using the Cerner system and ensure compliance with hospital policies.
• Administer medications, procedures, and interventions following established protocols.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort, adhering to quality standards and safety guidelines.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure effective patient flow and positive patient experience.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with at least 1 year in an ER setting.
• Previous experience in a Level 2 trauma center or high volume emergency department preferred.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, NIHSS, and ENPC certifications (or ability to obtain prior to start).
• Strong teamwork and communication skills, with flexibility to work across all ED areas.
• Ability to work 12.5-hour day shifts.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with HCA facilities preferred.
• Familiarity with Cerner documentation system.
• Bilingual skills or experience serving multicultural communities (over 120 languages).
• Ability to coach and provide real-time feedback to team members.
