- Travel, Full-time, 13-week assignment, Night shift
Key Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care on a Neurosciences unit, monitoring and managing neurology patients.
- Perform procedures such as Foley catheter insertion and IV starts.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.
- Document patient care accurately in electronic medical records using Cerner system.
- Support a patient ratio of approximately 5:1 to 7:1, depending on shift and stretch staffing.
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license.
- ACLS certification.
- NIHSS certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of RN experience, preferably in a neuro or med-surg setting.
- Ability to work 12.5-hour night shifts.
- Flexible and self-motivated personality.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Neuro experience is highly preferred.
- Experience with advanced neurological procedures.
