- Night shift, 12-hour shifts, full-time, temporary
Key Responsibilities
- Provide advanced patient care within the IMC/PCU/Stepdown unit, focusing on cardiac and acute care needs.
- Monitor and manage cardiac drips, utilize Epic EHR system, and ensure timely completion of time-sensitive modules.
- float within scope to all three nearby hospitals to meet facility needs.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care.
- Adhere to hospital policies, including nicotine-free environment and RTO management.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in PCU or ICU setting.
- Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications (must be valid at submission).
- NIHSS certification (must obtain prior to start).
- Active licensure to practice as a registered nurse in Florida.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Epic EMR experience, specifically with a 3 or 4 rating.
- Experience with cardiac drips and familiarity with cardiac care protocols.
- Ability to work within a fast-paced hospital environment.
