Registered Nurse Telemetry

Schedule / Job Type
- Nights, 13-week travel assignment, 12.5-hour shifts
Key Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care to telemetry patients in a fast-paced hospital environment
- Monitor patient vital signs and use telemetry equipment to track cardiac activity
- Administer medications, IVs, and perform procedures such as Foley insertions and IV starts
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Document patient care accurately in the electronic medical record system
- Support patient recovery with compassionate and professional care
Required Qualifications
- Current RN license in North Carolina or ability to obtain one
- BLS certification
- Telemetry certification (required to be considered)
- Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in a hospital setting
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Med-Surge certification or experience in med-surg levels of care
- Familiarity with Cerner/Power Chart EMR system
- Outgoing personality and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
