Schedule / Job Type
Travel, Night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), 13-week assignment, 3 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor telemetry data and respond to patient needs accordingly.
• Perform procedures such as Foley catheter insertions and IV starts.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and safety protocols.
• Maintain accurate documentation using electronic medical records.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in North Carolina or appropriate state licensure.
• Current BLS certification.
• Telemetry certification is required.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience.
• Ability to handle telemetry monitoring and perform basic procedures.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Med-Surg certification.
• Experience with telemetry monitoring, Foley insertion, and IV starts.
• Outgoing personality and ability to work well in a team environment.
• Prior experience in a busy hospital setting or similar unit.

This is a travel nursing position based at Mission Hospital’s K9-B Observation Unit, with additional commitments to other med-surg and specialty care units in the hospital.
