Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient care to adult med-surg telemetry patients on a busy 34-bed unit.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient status.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to implement patient care plans.
• Follow unit protocols, attend huddles, and document patient information accurately in Cerner EMR.
• Assist in procedures including IV therapy, tube feeds, and medication administration.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and unit policies.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license.
• BLS certification.
• At least 2 years of RN experience, preferably in telemetry or med-surg units.
• Strong critical thinking, time management, and communication skills.
• Ability to assess patients and alert appropriate team members when necessary.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ACLS certification.
• Experience with telemetry rhythm interpretation.
• Team-oriented, willing to assist colleagues and CNAs.
• Comfort with Cerner EMR system.
