Registered Nurse Rehabilitation

Schedule / Job Type
- Night shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide acute care and specialized rehabilitation services to patients with neurological, spinal, and post-operative conditions in an inpatient rehab setting
- Perform clinical duties including interpretation of laboratory results, medication reconciliation, and patient assessments such as vital signs and allergy documentation
- Conduct dressing changes and set up sterile procedures according to clinical protocols
- Collect and label specimens, perform phlebotomy, and manage patient triage over the phone
- Assist with patient education, including medication instructions and health questionnaires
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of relevant nursing experience, specifically in acute care or rehab settings
- Valid BLS certification
- Proficiency with electronic medical records, including EPIC system use
- Experience with interpretation of lab results and medication reconciliation
- Knowledge of patient assessment procedures such as vital signs and allergy documentation
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with neurological patients including stroke, TBI, ABI, spinal cord injury, and general debility
- Inpatient rehabilitation experience with high patient acuity and complex care needs
- Ability to manage patient ratios of 1:6 and work in a fast-paced environment
