- Full-time, contract, nights, 36 hours per week, approximately 26-32 weeks
Key Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate nursing care to labor and delivery patients in a large academic setting.
- Administer medications, monitor fetal and maternal health, and assist with deliveries.
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records (EMR) and ensure compliance with hospital protocols.
- Collaborate with healthcare team to deliver high-quality patient care.
- Adapt to flexible scheduling, including every weekend and occasional day shifts as needed.
- Complete all required documentation, including detailed employment history and work gaps exceeding 90 days.
Required Qualifications
- ValidRegistered Nurse (RN) license.
- Experience in high-risk maternity and labor & delivery units.
- EPIC EMR system experience within the past two years.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, or recent travel nursing experience if less.
- Must have current, verifiable work history with complete employment details.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in a large academic or hospital setting.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable transportation, with all-season or snow tires in winter months.
- Strong documentation and communication skills.
