- Full-time, 16-32 week assignment, day shifts
Key Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care to residents in long-term care and skilled nursing facilities.
- Float to neighboring units as needed, ensuring uninterrupted patient care.
- Work every other weekend and participate in holiday rotations, including Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, and New Year’s Day.
- Follow all facility policies and procedures related to resident care and documentation.
- Maintain confidentiality and compassion while caring for dementia patients and other populations.
Required Qualifications
- Valid LVN / LPN license.
- BLS certification through AHA.
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical nursing experience.
- Prior travel nursing experience preferred.
- Experience in long-term care (LTC) or skilled nursing facilities (SNF).
- Ability to float to different units as needed.
- Comfortable working with dementia patients.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a variety of LTC/SNF environments.
- Reliable transportation with all-season or snow tires during winter months.
- Strong communication skills to coordinate care and report issues effectively.
