Job Title
• Therapist - Social Worker

Schedule / Job Type
• Days, Full-time (5 shifts per week, 8 hours per shift)

Key Responsibilities
• Provide social work services within an acute medical care setting, including care coordination and discharge planning.
• Manage patient ratios of approximately 1:25 during day shifts.
• Participate in weekend rotations, typically one full weekend every four weeks, subject to departmental needs.
• Screen and evaluate first-time travelers; ensure licensing requirements are met prior to start date.
• Adhere to facility dress code, either business attire or scrubs.

Required Qualifications
• California state license as a Social Worker or eligibility to obtain pending license (must be licensed upon start).
• Minimum of 2 years of acute medical care experience in care management or discharge planning.
• Ability to start as soon as possible.

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience working with first-time travelers is a plus.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced hospital environment.
