Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Schedule / Job Type
Full-time, night shifts, 3 shifts per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to emergency room patients during night shifts.
- Assess patient conditions, develop care plans, and administer treatments.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety protocols, and healthcare regulations.
- Support and educate patients and their families during urgent medical situations.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of recent ER experience.
- Current license as a Registered Nurse.
- BLS and ACLS certifications required.
- Knowledge of EPIC electronic health record system.
- Ability to pass a mandatory Pass/Fail EKG exam.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous Charge Nurse and Level 2 Trauma experience.
- Additional certifications such as PALS, TNCC, or CPI preferred.
