Registered Nurse - IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Location: Greensboro, NC

Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, days shifts, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care for patients in the IMC, PCU, or Stepdown units.
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, including dysrhythmias.
• Manage peripheral lines and PICC lines.
• Titrate intravenous drips as prescribed.
• Support patient care across various campus locations as needed, including float responsibilities.
• Ensure compliance with all hospital protocols and safety standards.

Required Qualifications:

• Valid RN license.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Cardiac Telemetry or Stepdown unit.
• Certification in ACLS and BLS.
• NIH Stroke Scale certification preferred.
• Experience managing and interpreting dysrhythmias.
• Skilled in peripheral line and PICC line management.
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts, including weekend and holiday rotations.
• Must be comfortable floating between campuses.
• Excellent communication and patient care skills.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Prior experience in a PCU setting.
• Familiarity with titrating IV drips.
• Knowledge of patient management ratios (e.g., 1:5) in PCU environments.
• Experience with managing complex cardiac cases.
