Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in an Intermediate Care/Progressive Care/Stepdown unit within an acute care hospital
• Manage complex patients requiring titration of vasopressors, sedation medications, insulin drips, and ventilator management
• Monitor and operate invasive lines such as arterial lines, external pacemakers, and chest tubes
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient outcomes
• Titrate medications and maintain detailed documentation using EPIC charting system
• Follow hospital protocols for patient safety and compliance

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of recent bedside nursing experience in a critical care or stepdown setting
• Valid RTO (Registration and Title) license or eligibility to obtain
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• NIH certification preferred (or required depending on facility needs)
• Experience with ventilator management, vasopressor titration, and insulin drips

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Recent experience within the last 6 months in a similar acute care environment
• Ability to work flexible schedules including every other weekend shifts
• Strong knowledge of invasive line management and critical medication titrations
• Familiarity with EPIC electronic health record system
