Key Responsibilities
• Provide nursing care in a high-volume interventional radiology unit specializing in neuro and body procedures.
• Assist with procedures such as neuro-coiling, brain angio, carotid angio, pulmonary embolism treatments, peripheral angio, thoracentesis, and paracentesis.
• Monitor and support patients undergoing moderate sedation, ensuring safety and comfort.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including radiology techs, managers, and other nursing staff.
• Document patient care and procedures using electronic medical records system.
Required Qualifications
• Active RN license in Texas or eligible to practice in Texas.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Experience working in a procedural or radiology environment, preferably with stroke and interventional procedures.
• Ability to work on call and handle high patient acuity.
• Team-oriented personality with strong communication skills.
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Prior experience with Meditech or MacLab systems.
• Knowledge of neuro and body interventional radiology procedures.
• Experience with stroke-related procedures and acute care.
