• Nights, 3 shifts per week, full-time, on-site

Key Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient nursing care to patients in intermediate care/stepdown units.
• Administer cardiac drips and monitor cardiac rhythms, ensuring patient stability.
• Utilize Epic electronic medical records system with proficiency level of 3 or 4.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Prioritize time-sensitive modules and documentation related to patient care.
• Float within scope to all three hospitals within the local area as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a PCU/Stepdown unit.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications at the time of submission.
• NIHSS certification required prior to start date.
• Must have an active license and be able to obtain NIHSS certification before starting.
• Epic EMR experience, preferably with a 3 or 4 rating.
• Negative 10-panel drug screen including nicotine within the past 12 months.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Familiarity with cardiac drips and monitoring cardiac rhythms.
• Previous experience working in a Teaching Hospital or Level Trauma facility preferred.
• Ability to work on a block schedule is not required.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.

• This is a night shift position with a guaranteed minimum of 36-40 hours weekly.
• Must include all RTO (time off) requests in the initial submittal.
