Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical setting, managing a variety of common medical conditions and postoperative cases.
• Utilize Epic electronic medical records system to document patient information accurately and efficiently.
• Assess patient needs, monitor progress, and coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams.
• Ensure compliance with facility policies, safety standards, and infection control protocols.
• Assist with patient education and discharge planning as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Nursys license verification.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a Medical Surgical specialty.
• Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work full shifts with no RTO (request to reduce time off) during assignment.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with EPIC electronic health records system.
• Background in trauma, fractures, cellulitis, osteomyelitis, PAD, small bowel obstruction, and oncology cases.
• Familiarity with surgery specialties such as ENT, OMFS, and GYN.
• Proven ability to work efficiently in high-pressure environments and handle a diverse patient caseload.
