Schedule / Job Type
Full-time, 36 hours per week, Day shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in Labor and Delivery, Postpartum, and Baby-Friendly Hospital Initiative (BFHI) rooms.
• Support and assist with an average of 40 deliveries and 6 Cesarean sections per month.
• Occasionally cover as charge nurse, following successful charge nurse training.
• Float to other departments as qualified and competent, including task-oriented duties.
• Ensure compliance with patient safety and hospital protocols.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years recent experience in Labor and Delivery nursing.
• Valid American Heart Association BLS certification.
• AHA ACLS, NRP, or AWHONN Advanced FHM certifications (RNC-EFM can be substituted for AWHONN FHM).
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a high-volume delivery setting.
• Ability to handle diverse patient care scenarios including C-sections and postpartum care.
• Comfortable with float assignments to related departments.
