Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy services to neonatal, pediatric, and adult patients.
• Support unit needs by providing neonatal, pediatric, nursery, and emergency support as required.
• Work a minimum of 3 shifts per week, including every other weekend and holidays.
• Cover a variety of hospital units, floating across departments as needed.
• Adhere to hospital protocols, including documentation in EPIC and equipment usage.
• Ensure patient safety and quality care using advanced respiratory equipment such as Puritan Bennett ventilators and ABG monitors.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2-3 years of respiratory therapy experience.
• Valid NY State license or proof of application with an applied date.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications.
• Experience with EPIC EMR system within the past 2 years.
• Hands-on experience with neonatal and pediatric populations preferred.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Travel or agency experience in a hospital setting.
• Flexibility to work holidays and weekends.
• Experience handling advanced respiratory equipment, including ventilators and invasive monitors.

• Travel rate: $105 per hour; local rate: $95; distances measured in a straight line.

• This facility does not have access to public transportation.
