- Full-time, Nights, 13-week travel assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to laboring women and new mothers in a busy Labor and Delivery unit.
- Assist with procedures such as inductions, cesarean sections, and TOLAC.
- Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal conditions using GE EFM equipment.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including CNAs, CSTs, and physicians, to ensure quality patient care.
- Document patient care accurately in electronic medical records (CPN and Meditech).
- Maintain a positive and upbeat attitude, ensuring a supportive environment for patients and staff.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years recent labor and delivery nursing experience.
- Valid RN license.
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP.
- Must have scrub capability and charge experience.
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience performing inductions and cesarean sections.
- Ability to handle high-stakes procedures with confidence.
