- Full-time, travel (13 weeks), day shifts, no weekends or major holidays
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care in a Cardiac Catheterization Lab and Electrophysiology (EP) holding unit.
- Assist cardiologists with procedures such as TEE, Cardioversion, and Dobutamine Stress Echo.
- Monitor and recover patients post-procedure, managing both outpatient and inpatient cases.
- Assist with prep and recovery of Radiology and Interventional Radiology patients.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Ensure adherence to safety policies, including dress code and infection control standards.
Required Qualifications
- Active Texas RN license (temp licenses are not accepted).
- Minimum of 2 years of telemetry experience.
- BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Experience with intra-aortic balloon pumps, Impella devices, or vasoactive drugs is a plus.
- Knowledge of Meditech documentation system.
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts, with flexible scheduling based on procedure load.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with prep and recovery of Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology patients.
- Familiarity with high-acuity patient care and rapid patient turnover.
- Knowledge of vascular access and post-procedure monitoring.
- Strong team communication skills.
