Registered Nurse - NICU
Location: Alexandria, LA
Schedule / Job Type: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week, travel assignment
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized nursing care to neonatal intensive care patients in a hospital setting
- Monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and document care activities accurately
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Follow protocols and safety procedures specific to NICU care
- Respond promptly to patient needs and emergencies
Required Qualifications:
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant nursing experience
- Ability to work night shifts and 12-hour shifts
- Strong clinical skills in neonatal care
Preferred Experience / Skills:
- Prior experience in a NICU environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
