Registered Nurse PACU
Job Title
• Registered Nurse - PACU
Location
• McKinney, TX
Schedule / Job Type
• Travel, Nights shift, 13-week assignment
Key Responsibilities
• Provide post-anesthesia care to patients recovering from surgery in the PACU setting
• Monitor patient vital signs and overall condition during recovery
• Assess patient needs and respond to emergencies promptly
• Document patient status and care provided in Meditech system
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure a safe and smooth recovery process
• Adhere to hospital policies and dress code standards, including neat presentation and proper attire
Required Qualifications
• Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Minimum of 2 years of PACU/surgical recovery experience
• Certification requirements as specified by the hospital
• Ability to work night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Strong patient assessment and critical thinking skills
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience with Meditech documentation system
• Knowledge of hospital equipment used in PACU care
• flexibility to float as needed within the unit
• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
