Job Title
• Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery
Location
• Irving, TX
Schedule / Job Type
• Travel, Full-time, 13-week assignment, Night shift (7 PM – 7 AM), 3 shifts per week, 12 hours per shift
Key Responsibilities
• Provide specialized nursing care to patients in the Labor and Delivery unit
• Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions using Meditech system
• Assist with C-section procedures and other obstetric interventions
• Support post-delivery patient care and education
• Adhere to facility policies on scrubs, appearance, and safety protocols
Required Qualifications
• Valid Texas RN license (active, no temporary licenses)
• Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience
• Current ACLS, BLS, NRP, FHM, and AWHONN certifications
• Strong clinical skills in obstetric and neonatal care
• Ability to work night shifts and adapt to floating policies
Preferred Experience / Skills
• RNC certification
• Experience with Meditech documentation system
• Advanced skills in obstetric emergencies and patient management
