Key Responsibilities
• Provide specialized nursing care to patients on a 36-bed telemetry unit focused on respiratory disorders
• Float to other units and hospitals as needed
• Collaborate with departments such as respiratory therapy, physical therapy, care management, and pharmacy
• Ensure delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment
• Adhere to unit policies and safety protocols
Required Qualifications
• Valid Alabama or Compact Registered Nurse license
• AHA BLS or Red Cross certification
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience, or 18 months with a high level of licensing, including at least 1 year in the specialty area
• Associate degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience working in telemetry or respiratory care units
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
