- Travel, Full-time, Days shift, 36 hours per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide patient-centered nursing care on a multi-specialty unit, with a focus on telemetry monitoring and medical/surgical needs.
- Support patient recovery by managing pain, encouraging mobility, and preventing complications.
- Float to other units and hospitals as needed, maintaining flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic healthcare environment.
- Collaborate with the nursing team to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality care for up to 36 patients.
- Adhere to hospital protocols and standards, including documentation in Meditech EMR.
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher.
- Current Registered Nurse license in Alabama or a Compact State. (No temporary licenses accepted.)
- BLS certification through AHA.
- At least 1 year of recent RN experience, with a minimum of 18 months working under a professional license, preferably in a telemetry or medical/surgical setting.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior telemetry nursing experience or recent medical-surgical background.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
