- Full-time, on-site, shifts on days, 4 shifts per week
Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic radiographic imaging procedures (X-ray) for a high patient volume of 30-35 scans per shift.
- Ensure proper identification, positioning, and safety protocols during imaging procedures.
- Maintain accurate documentation within the hospital’s Epic electronic charting system.
- Adhere to established safety and quality standards, including ARRT, BLS, and California licensure requirements.
- Schedules are self-managed based on seniority, with selected shifts including early morning, daytime, and evening hours.
- Provide coverage for weekend shifts as scheduled, with flexibility to meet facility needs.
Required Qualifications
- Current ARRT certification in Radiography.
- Valid BLS certification.
- California State Radiologic Technologist license.
- Minimum of 2 years of radiology experience in a hospital setting.
- Willingness to work day shifts and weekend coverage.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous experience with Epic electronic health record systems.
- Ability to self-schedule shifts in accordance with seniority policies.
- Experience working in acute care hospitals with high patient volumes.
