Schedule / Job Type
Full-time, 12-hour shifts, days, rotating days off, on-call every 3rd-4th weekend, 1 night per week, no block schedules

Key Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care in a busy surgical services operating room.
• Circulate during surgical procedures; scrub experience preferred.
• Float to other units as necessary, meeting unit and patient care needs.
• Work scheduled hours Monday to Sunday with weekend, holiday, and on-call responsibilities.
• Ensure compliance with hospital protocols, maintaining a sterile and safe environment.
• Document patient care using EPIC system and assist with patient transport and IV starts as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Valid New York State RN license or proof of licensing application.
• Minimum of 2 years of professional nursing experience.
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
• Recent EPIC EMR experience (within past 2 years).
• Active circulating nurse qualification; scrub experience preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior operating room or surgical services experience.
• Experience with intraoperative procedures and use of OR equipment.
• Knowledge of hospital protocols for patient safety and infection control.
