Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care in the Cardiac Cath Lab and Electrophysiology (EP) units.
- Assist with cardiac procedures, patient monitoring, and post-procedure care.
- Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes.
- Adhere to facility policies, including on-call and weekend coverage requirements.
- Float within scope to other units such as EP or IRO as needed.
- Maintain documentation in Epic and comply with all safety and procedural standards.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Alaska Registered Nurse license, in hand for immediate consideration.
- BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a cardiovascular or cath lab setting.
- Ability to work 10-hour day shifts, including on-call and weekend duties.
- Willingness to float within scope and adhere to schedule requirements.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous experience working in a Level II Trauma or Magnet-designated hospital.
- Experience in EP or interventional cardiology procedures.
- Comfortable with on-call responsibilities and weekend shifts.
