Job Title

Schedule / Job Type

• Contract, 8 weeks, Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), 36 hours per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide critical care nursing in the ICU setting, including cardiac and neuro patient care.
• Float to related units such as Emergency Department, ICU, and UCU across multiple facilities.
• Follow established protocols and documentation standards using Epic electronic health records.
• Work scheduled weekend shifts and participate in holiday rotation.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver quality patient care.

Required Qualifications

• Active Illinois nursing license.
• Minimum of 2 years ICU experience, including cardiac and neuro critical care.
• Current CPR, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Ability to float between units as needed.
• Pass a skills checklist, submit pass EKG test, provide recent reference, and active certifications.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Strong critical care skills and previous experience with Epic electronic health records.
• Experience working in multiple facility environments such as Glenbrook, Highland Park, or Skokie.
