Registered Nurse - Rehabilitation

Location: Greensboro, NC

Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, nights shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week, including every 3rd weekend and holidays as needed; float requirements across multiple campuses

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide inpatient rehabilitation nursing care for patients with neurological and post-surgical conditions such as CVA, TBI, ABI, spinal cord injuries, and general debility
• Conduct patient assessments, interpret laboratory results, and perform medication reconciliation
• Administer treatments including dressing changes and sterile/aseptic procedures
• Collect specimens such as throat swabs, urine samples, and perform phlebotomy
• Manage patient triage via telephone and handle pharmacy refill requests
• Maintain patient safety and compliance with clinical protocols for specialized rehabilitation

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of acute care rehab nursing experience
• Current BLS certification
• Experience with EPIC electronic health record system
• Ability to interpret laboratory results and perform medication reconciliation
• Knowledge of patient assessments including vital signs, allergies, and health questionnaires
• Strong understanding of sterile procedures and specimen labeling

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Experience working with neurological and post-op surgical rehabilitation patients
• Familiarity with inpatient rehab department workflows and patient ratios (1:6)
