Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, Day shift, 8 hours per shift, 5 days per week
Key Responsibilities
• Provide comprehensive perioperative nursing care to patients undergoing cardiovascular surgeries in the CVOR setting
• Monitor patient vital signs and status continuously during procedures, ensuring safety and optimal recovery
• Assist surgical teams with preoperative preparations and postoperative care
• Maintain sterile techniques and adhere to hospital protocols and safety standards
• Document patient care accurately and maintain detailed medical records
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient outcomes
Required Qualifications
• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• Prior experience working in a CVOR or cardiovascular surgery setting preferred
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience with perioperative care in a high-acuity environment
• Knowledge of cardiovascular procedures and postoperative management
