Registered Nurse - CVPICU
Location: Indianapolis, IN
Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, Nights, 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week
Key Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized critical care nursing to pediatric cardiac patients in a PICU environment.
• Monitor and manage patients on ventilators and telemetry equipment.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions for complex heart and VAD patients.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Document patient status and care plans accurately and promptly.
• Adhere to safety protocols and certification requirements for cardiac ICU nursing.

Required Qualifications:

• Valid RN license in the state of Indiana.
• BLS and PALS certifications.
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in a cardiac or intensive care setting.
• Experience with telemetry, ventilators, and complex cardiac care.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Previous experience in a Pediatric ICU (PICU) or Cardiac ICU.
• Training or certification in operating VAD or heart transplant care.
• Ability to float between units, including cardiac stepdown and PICU as needed.
