Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, Night shifts, 4 shifts per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide patient care to individuals in an Intermediate Care/Progressive Care Unit or Stepdown Unit.
- Adapt to acuity levels ranging from medical-surgical to ICU-level care, ensuring appropriate monitoring and interventions.
- Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Document patient progress and treatments accurately in electronic health records.
- Float within scope to meet facility needs, including coverage of various units as required.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Indiana RN license or willingness to obtain prior to start.
- Minimum of 2 years of general nursing experience (1.5 years acceptable with screening).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- National certifications such as ACLS and NIHSS are required.
- Willingness to work charge pay with a $3.00/hour bump.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in telemetry, cardiac telemetry, or similar units.
- Familiarity with acuity adaptable units and managing varied patient diagnoses such as COPD, PNA, Sepsis, UTI, CHF.
