Job Title

Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, Night shifts, 12-hour shifts

Key Responsibilities
• Provide direct, individualized nursing care to ICU patients based on scientific nursing principles.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
• Prepare, administer, and document prescribed medications, reporting adverse reactions as needed.
• Deliver basic bedside care and initiate patient education on post-treatment care, medication management, and rehabilitation.
• Record patient medical information and vital signs accurately and timely.
• Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests; collect lab samples and assess lab reports.
• Assist physicians during examinations and treatments, prepare equipment, and respond to life-saving situations following protocols.
• Monitor and interpret electronic displays from monitoring equipment, adjust devices as necessary, and ensure proper placement of catheters, leads, and tubing.
• Maintain detailed documentation of all patient care activities.

Required Qualifications
• Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Valid Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Current professional license within the state of practice or in a nurse licensure compact (NLC).
• Verification of suicide training and demographic data via Nursys e-Notify (for NLC applicants).
• Proof of right to work in the United States.
• Critical care experience in a hospital setting.

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience with hemodynamic monitoring, phlebotomy, and IV protocols.
• Familiarity with monitoring cardiac rhythms and operating specialized equipment such as ventilators and respiratory devices.
• Ability to respond effectively in emergency situations following nursing standards and protocols.
