Registered Nurse Telemetry
Job Title
- Registered Nurse - Telemetry
Location
- Pasadena, TX
Schedule / Job Type
- Travel, 13-week assignment, Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide bedside care to telemetry patients in an intermediate care unit
- Monitor patient cardiac activity and respond to emergencies as needed
- Document patient assessments, treatments, and progress in the EMR system
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to ensure patient safety and care quality
- Follow unit policies, dress code, and safety protocols
- Support patient-centered care with compassion and professionalism
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license
- BLS certification
- NIH Stroke Certification (or equivalent)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- ACLS certification
- Previous telemetry or cardiac care experience
- Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
