Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, 13-week contract, night shifts, 12-hour shifts
Key Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to adult and pediatric patients in a Medical-Surgical department
- Collaborate with a team of nurses and a full-time Hospitalist physician
- Maintain compliance with all clinical standards and protocols
- Work independently with minimal supervision and direction
- Float to other departments as qualified, ensuring continuity of patient care
- Support patient safety and provide education as needed
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse license in Oregon
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant nursing experience
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and every other weekend
- Strong clinical skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in a rural hospital setting
- Skilled in pediatric and adult patient care
- Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and protocols
