Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for labor and delivery patients in a busy Level III Obstetrical Unit.
• Collaborate with medical team to ensure safe and efficient patient care.
• Assist with all stages of labor, delivery, and postpartum care.
• Adhere to facility protocols and maintain patient safety standards.
• Ensure accurate documentation using EPIC electronic health records.
• Support unit staff, especially during high patient volume periods.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience.
• Valid RN license; pending license accepted.
• ACLS certification.
• AWHONN Intermediate certification.
• BLS certification.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a Level III Obstetrical Unit.
• Ability to adapt quickly in a high-volume environment.
• Flexibility to float between units as needed, particularly Post Partum.

Additional Information

• Start date: January 2026
• Shift: 3 or 4 days of 12-hour day shifts per week, including every other weekend.
• Orientation: Three days at the start of assignment (Monday-Wednesday).
• Additional RTO restrictions: No holiday RTO; all requests to be included at submission.
• Parking: Facility-paid.
• Scrub color: Any (excluding reddish-orange).
• No call required.
• Willingness to float between labor and postpartum units based on need.
• This position is at the Providence Pavilion for Women & Children in Everett, WA.
