Therapist – Respiratory Therapist

Location: Indianapolis, IN

Schedule / Job Type: Nights, 4 shifts per week, 12-hour shifts

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide respiratory care primarily in Labor & Delivery (L&D) units, with potential assignments to NICU, PICU, and Pediatric units
• Administer treatments including ventilator management (Servo I, Servo U, Hamilton G5) and monitor patient status
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Ensure compliance with certification and licensing requirements
• Maintain accurate documentation of respiratory therapy procedures and patient responses
• Float between assigned units as needed, based on hospital staffing and patient needs

Required Qualifications:

• Indiana State License in Respiratory Therapy (must be in hand to submit)
• NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential (must be in hand to submit)
• Certification in BLS and ACLS
• 18 months minimum recent experience in NICU, PICU, or Peds, including vent management
• Experience with NICU and PICU ventilators (Servo platforms, Hamilton G5)
• Previous perioperative or pediatric critical care experience preferred

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• PALS certification (preferred)
• Experience working in a children's hospital or trauma units within the last year
• Ability to float across NICU, PICU, and Pediatric units as required
