Schedule / Job Type
Full-time, 12-hour night shifts, 13 to 26-week contracts, with options for 36 or 48-hour weeks, including storm/hurricane deployment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage patient care on Medical Surgical/Telemetry units, including dysrhythmia management and O2 protocol administration.
• Provide non-invasive airway management and peripheral line care/management.
• Adhere to isolation precautions and proper PPE usage.
• Document care electronically using EPIC charting system.
• Participate in rapid response team activation when necessary.
• float to similar units and alternate care locations within inpatient settings as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Medical Surgical or Orthopedic units.
• Knowledge of dysrhythmia management and O2 protocols.
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
• Ability to pass EKG testing prior to start.
• Must reside at least 70 miles from the facility and include permanent address in profile submission.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ACLS certification.
• Interpretation of dysrhythmias and management of drips.
• Central line care and management.
• Blood products administration.
• Previous traveler experience is not required but beneficial.
